The Karori Event Centre is well underway.

The build phase has been completed.

Thanks to WCC agreeing to fund the completion of the fit out we will soon be commencing on the final phase of work.

An exciting multi-purpose venue

Will support activities like fitness, dance, drama, music, youth programmes, clubs and more. It will also be a great meeting space for the community, family celebrations, and fundraisers—and a fantastic venue for performances.

Over $2.4m raised so far from grants, Wellington City Council and the community.

This has allowed us to secure the land and commence construction. Now, we only need $1036,000 more to complete fit-out and open the doors to the community.

With a shortage of hall spaces across Wellington, the Event Centre will provide much needed affordable community spaces.
